Art of Returning

We believe that trust is built through clarity, care, and accountability. Below is an overview of how funds connected the Art of Returning Art Auction Fundraiser and ongoing work are structured and used.

Reporting

The auction resulted in 9 of 15 artworks collected. All artworks sold during the charity auction were allocated as communicated:

  • 70% of each artwork sale was donated directly to GoFundMe for hurricane relief efforts in Jamaica

  • 30% supports the production and sales costs of the artworks and is retained by the artist. Tax, where applicable, is paid only on the portion retained by the artist.

Artwork Sales

Ticket purchases supported the realization of the event and the early development of the initiative. Ticket revenue has been used to:

  • Cover event production and organizational costs

  • Reimburse out-of-pocket expenses required to host the fundraiser

  • Support early legal and administrative steps, including notary and setup costs, as we lay the foundation for the Ackee Seed Foundation
